Convair Space Shuttlecraft Booster Engine Detail Set
Revell’s Convair Space Shuttlecraft is a classic from the late 1950s. Despite its age, the kit holds up well in its latest incarnation from Atlantis, with little flash, reasonable fit and a cool decal sheet. So, let’s punch it up a bit!
This detail set consists of 3D printed resin parts for the bottom “working end” of the booster to show engine and structural details. You’ll get a booster engine surround structure that shows fine reinforcement structure on the outside, and frame/longeron structural details on the inside. Also, a bulkhead for mounting four (4) engine bells (six engine bells ship with the kit so that you’ll have backups).
Printed with the highest-quality desktop 3D printing technology, this kit consists of 3D printed resin parts. Assembly with CA or epoxy glue is required, and some cleanup of support stubs will be necessary as you will receive “rough trimmed” parts as well as some parts with printing supports still attached.
NOTE: The Atlantis kit is not included with this detail set. All parts are shipped unpainted. Assembly and modeling skills are required.
