1/4105 Colonial Fleet Corvette

Pickett duty, priority transport, advance scout and intra-system patrol: tasks critical to the proper functioning of a space navy but rarely meriting the glory of a battlestar. The corvette is the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper (or “rated”) warship. Faster than many larger warships at sublight speeds and armed with the latest weaponry and warfare systems, the corvette is also suited for fast attack purposes during wartime. Designed to rapidly close on enemy ships-of-the-line, in practice the corvette must deliver its lethal blow quickly as its staying power has proven brief.

The Ponos Class Corvette hull represented here is generally considered to be over-powered and over-gunned, with three (3) dual, automated rail guns and four (4) point defense gatling guns.

Kit includes one highly detailed, 3D printed and unpainted resin corvette in six (6) parts, three (3) rail guns (plus extras), four (4) point defense guns (plus extras), a 3D printed display base and metal display rod. NEW – A decal sheet is included with landing bay runway markings, hull registry numbers and miscellaneous “greeblie” markings to use as you see fit. See “Parts Inventory” photos.
